Problems using or accessibility of the route then please contact the respective highways authority:
Wardens
We aim to have a network of warden covering all the route. Where we have gaps in coverage we would welcome people local to the route to take on the voluntary role of checking the maintenance and signage. Please make contact if you would like to become a warden.
Similarly, the various challenges to improving the access on the route need local knowledge and contacts. If you are able to assist with progressing any of this it would be appreciated.
Membership & volunteering
The Icknield Way Association promotes and develops the route with local highway authority support. The Icknield Way Association is a group of members passionate about the route. If you would like to become a member to support our work please see the Join Us page.
If you would like to be involved in promotion, management, enhancements or act as a warden along the route. We would also welcome any contacts who are able to respond to cyclist or equestrian enquiries – please contact our Secretary
